In Lithuanian culture, the žaltys (grass snake)

carries additional meaning:
– protection from harm,
– harmony and wellbeing in the home,
– connection to nature and life energy.

The symbol intentionally includes the English phrase “Medical Acupuncture”, because:

• many of our patients come from abroad,

• it improves search and visibility internationally,

• it clearly communicates that we provide medical, not cosmetic or alternative, acupuncture,

• it aligns with global medical standards.

The Meaning of the Colors: Green and Gold

The colors chosen for the Akumed symbol have both cultural and symbolic significance:

• Colors of the Lithuanian and Brazilian flags

A tribute to the two cultures that shaped my professional path.

Green

– the body's natural ability to restore itself.

Golden / Yellow
– solar energy, transformation, rebirth,
– divine light, spiritual strength, healing.
